What is Platform?

A platform is a social media network wherein users can interact with friends and/or other users. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Snapchat are examples of social media platforms. Platforms are used for socializing and disseminating information. Social media users utilize their platforms to publish activities, stories, pictures, and videos. Additionally, social media platforms allow you to interact with others’ posts through post commenting and republishing their posts. Accounts on social media platforms can be kept private or public and they can accrue followers.
