What is Reaction?

Reactions are quick, illustrated responses to a social media user’s posted content. Rather than followers having to type responses, reactions are made with a quick tap of an illustrated response. On Facebook, some reactions include love, wow, haha, and anger among others. Each of these quick reactions is represented by an emoji illustration. On TikTok, users can react with a heart to indicate they’ve enjoyed the post. On Instagram posts allow users to like a post with the double click of a heart while on stories users have a handful of reactions to choose from including fire, laughing, and wow among others.
