What is Crisis management?

Crisis management refers to a specific skill for identifying and responding to a critical situation in order to minimize any negative results and prevent as much damage as possible and do so expeditiously. In this age of the World Wide Web and its seemingly endless pitfalls, it is highly advisable for every business, group, organization, etc, to have a crisis management specialist or team of experts in place to constantly monitor and manage social media and other content in order to act immediately to de-escalate and eliminate any crisis activity that may arise.
